Sustainable Wedding Planning with Vintage Charm in Tennessee

Anna Catherine and Kyle’s wedding in rural Tennessee was the kind of day that felt magical, meaningful, and full of heart. With Anna Catherine’s brother, Cullen, officiating the ceremony, the celebration was deeply personal from the very start. It was evident to all of us there that these two are truly made for each other.

For these clients, wedding planning was focused heavily on sustainability, while prioritizing a whimsical theme. We chose to lean into vintage and thrifted wedding décor to create a timeless, collected look while keeping waste to a minimum. Additionally, all the food waste was composted, disposables were limited to compostable items, and every detail was chosen with intention. It was a beautiful reminder that eco-friendly, sustainable wedding planning can still feel elevated, stylish, and deeply personal.

Even when Tennessee weather had other plans, the day stayed smooth and stress-free. A last-minute shift from a lawn ceremony to a pool courtyard wedding meant a quick pivot, but with our expertise, the transition was seamless to guests and the wedding party. The new setting ended up being absolutely perfect, unique, and timeless. Sometimes the unexpected changes end up being the best part.

Personal touches made the day unforgettable. The bride and bridesmaids made all of their own bouquets, adding another layer of creativity and meaning. And just when guests thought the night couldn’t get better, Anna Catherine closed out the reception by serenading Kyle with Céline Dion, which wasn’t a surprise to any of her friends who joined in singing and dancing all night long!
